Pressing Reset: The Plants Creative Team Retreat

This picture reminds me of the quote “we’re all in this together”! If you’ve ever rafted the Ocoee River, with consistent Class III and occasional Class IV rapids, paddling together is key to surviving the adventure with no team member left behind! I was thrilled that our Plants Creative rafts arrived safely down the river with all 13 team members inside, cold and drenched but all smiles... and with full sets of teeth (a sad consequence of losing grips on the paddle)!

Our latest team retreat, held in the mountains of North Georgia, was designed as an opportunity to revisit and reset our three-year plan for Plants Creative. We had 13 managers and two Plants Creative Ambassadors included in the fun. The ambassadors are two production team members who volunteer to go above and beyond in their jobs, including training new employees and answering those “day one” questions every new employee has. We’re grateful to have had Francis from construction and Maka from maintenance join us.

Everything we do, every decision we make, is designed for you — to create greater value and greater service. Whether we’re talking about how to provide a more convenient and simplified buying experience, how to support our team in expanding sustainability initiatives and new service lines, improving how we accomplish our work, or designing growth opportunities for employees, we know our work will never be done.

Plants Creative will always exist first and foremost to serve you, anchored by a team of landscape professionals who create and care for your beautiful landscapes. It’s who we are, it’s what inspires us every day. These retreats allow us to slow down, listen, learn, align and advance our key priorities. And to have a little fun!

Many of you know that we’ve opened a second location in North Georgia. This is my branch to get launched and creating landscapes in the mountains and lakes is a true passion!

I always want to know how our team is doing and I encourage you to share any brilliant ideas on how we can be better! Here’s a link to our About Us page, which includes my email: https://plantscreative.com/about#team. Please reach out!

Thanks for being a part of our community. We’re tremendously grateful for you!
