Meet Don, our Maintenance Production Manager! Don brings a background unlike anyone else on the team. After 20 years managing retail pharmacies, he discovered that plants really are the best kind of medicine and made the switch to horticulture full time. A Georgia Certified Plant Professional with roots in the industry going all the way back to childhood (his dad had him raking a three-quarter acre yard solo at age 12), Don spent time at Pike Nursery before finding his home here at Plants Creative. His favorite part of the job? Seeing the pride on a crew's face when the work is exceptional, and the look on a homeowner's face right after.
When Don isn't out making sure properties are worth celebrating, he's coaching his kids in soccer and basketball, competing in whatever rec sport he can get into, or sneaking a quiet moment in his own front garden. Life at home stays lively with Ember the rescue mutt, a parrot named Gold Tooth Scaly Wag (who once ate an entire ball of string), and a Gourami named Blue Goo.
